Limoncello is an Italian liqueur made from lemon peel. The refreshing liqueur was originally produced in Sardinia and Sicily, although these regions do not yet agree on the inventor of the liqueur. In Italy you will find a limoncello on the menu in every restaurant, often a local or homemade version.

The popularity of limoncello has increased enormously in recent years. The drink is regularly served not only by holidaymakers in Italy, but also in the Netherlands. Where it used to be mainly in the freezer at the Italian, nowadays we see a limoncello on the menu in almost every restaurant. So is Koreman's limoncello; many cafes and restaurants have put our limoncello on their dessert menu after an introduction.
